Why Gravitate
exists.
Gravitate exists because good software should help coaches do their best work for their clients. Most existing platforms feel complicated, fragmented and expensive. There are more features than most coaches need, yet everyday tasks still take too much work and improvements come slowly.
The aim is to make those everyday tasks easier, with care put into how everything works together. Creating programs, making changes and following a client’s progress should leave coaches with more time and attention for the people they coach.
Keeping the product focused and the team small helps keep the price low. One flat price, however many clients a coach takes on.
Hey, I’m Ethan Catzel, the founder of Gravitate. I build software for a living in Sydney. I’ve worked at Canva and various Series A startups, and co-founded a startup as CTO.
I’ve been training calisthenics for many years. I recently unlocked my handstand, and the dream is to one day hold it on one arm.
I love building my own software and making complex things simple. After countless coaches asked me to build something to help them run their coaching, I started Gravitate.
